Kunstfabrik HB55

My studio is located at Kunstfabrik HB55, a historic factory complex in Berlin-Lichtenberg originally built in 1909 as the Margarinewerk Berolina. After decades of industrial use, the building was transformed in 1998 into one of Berlin’s most vibrant artist studio communities, now home to over 240 artists and creative practitioners working across disciplines, from sculpture and painting to design, fashion, and performance. Spread across 7,000 m² of brick warehouses and open courtyards, HB55 retains the texture of its industrial past while fostering a living, working creative ecosystem.
