Maria Nitulescu, born in 1989, resides and works in Berlin.
Maria Nitulescu has explored the world through art from an early age. She holds a B.A. from the National University of Arts in Bucharest, an M.A. in Creative Communication for Cultural Heritage from Brera Academy in Milan, and a postgraduate degree from the Institute for Art in Context at the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK). Her postgraduate research thesis on Olfactory Art, conducted under Prof. Dr. Jörg Heiser, further exemplifies her commitment to exploring the intersections of art and sensory experiences.
Trained as an artist, Maria embraces an interdisciplinary approach, delving into roles as an independent curator, art education practitioner, and writer. Since 2014, she has consistently contributed to various magazines, including The ArtGorgeous, SLEEK Magazine, and Positive Magazine. Among her notable projects is the curation of the “Contemporary Infinite” exhibition series. The latest edition in 2018, held in collaboration with FIAC in Paris, showcased a public sculpture by Gregor Hildebrandt displayed in front of the Grand Palais.
